John Miguelez, C.P., has announced the formation of a new company, Advanced Arm Dynamics, Inc. (AAD), which specializes in worldwide upper extremity prosthetics. AAD delivers expert upper extremity care and consultation services, including advanced fitting and fabrication techniques, state-of-the-art socket designs, and insurance negotiation.
Miguelez, President and Senior Clinical Director, commented, "Working closely with upper extremity component manufacturers on education, research and design, AAD offers practitioners the unique opportunity to receive manufacturer certification at the practitioner's own facility for a wide variety of components, including the Utah Arm 2 and Boston Elbow 2."
In addition to the clinical resources available, AAD features business development services which can provide a strategic advantage to any facility, large or small, enabling it to grow and become more competitive in the rapidly changing health care market.

"Now any O & P facility can access the resources needed to maximize the rehabilitation potential of even the most challenging upper extremity cases," said Miguelez, the founder and former Vice President and Senior Clinical Director for NovaCare's Upper Extremity Prosthetic Program.
A graduate of the University of Southern California, Miguelez received his certificate in Prosthetics from Northwestern University.
